Our Patented Technology

Veristry benefits from our early and extensive patent and other intellectual property.    We believe our patented technologies in the fields of internet and real-world search, smart, AI-enabled communications, and micro-location services will both support the next generation of definitive information and direct search as well as ultimately become a single, universal solution for digitizing and sharing micro-location information,  including micro-navigation routing in and around parcels and buildings.  This will be immediately helpful for everyone, and our patented SpeedFind®,  SmartAddress®,

AddressPlus®, and MicroMap® technologies are designed to fill a significant need in internet search and a critical void in the micro-location addressing and information infrastructure that is necessary for autonomous vehicles, drones, and devices.

With over 20 patents issued in the area of mobile, local search, Smart communications, and micro-location technologies since our first filing in 1996 and terms extending until at least 2032, we intend to work with all mapping and location service providers to enable a universal cross-service micro-location referencing system that will similar to the DNS for domain names and telephones number for telephones.

Here is a quick summary of our key patent families:

  • 1996 Family-  Real-Time Unified Geographic Database (RUGDâ„¢) and clearinghouse that is both centralized and disaggregated yet connected in a single system.  See U.S. Pat. No.  8,935,220

  • 2006 Family  -- a new direct search paradigm focused on providing normalized, authentic, verified, and real-time information direct from brands and other content providers, a new and definitive brand name registry, and the next generation of paid and organic mobile and online internet search designed to be better for both users and brands.    See U.S. Pat. No. 10,229,216.

  •

  • 2010 Family  -- Smart, AI enabled systems and methods to automatically clarify and enhance communications with real-time information about terms (e.g. brands and locations) used in the communications based on the identity, history, location or other context of the sender as well as the intended recipient(s).   See U.S. Pat. No. 10,296,568.

  •

No.  9,678,986

Our goal is to develop and deploy SmartPoint's patented technologies, together with other mapping and micro-location services companies to enable the next and future generations of internet search and micro-location services, particularly micro-and inbuilding navigation and deliveries  by autonomous vehicles and devices like robotics and drones.
